Pumpkins are such a super food. Packed with Antioxidants for fighting chronic illnesses and boosting immune response, the seeds in particular are a strong anti-parasitic. We all have parasites and so eating these can help get rid of the wee nasty buggers and keep good overall health. Winter is for restoring and healing and hibernating, hence why pumpkins are an autumn/winter food. It's not by mistake.
